My Name is Frances, and I have been capturing weddings for seven incredible years. Based in the English countryside, I work all across the UK, France, Italy and Europe.

When it comes to my camera work, there is one simple goal that is more important than any other. To capture every moment, each emotion or memory as if there wasn’t a camera there at all. To peel back the production, the structure, and the orchestration of a day. To find the unseen moments that are most genuine, unguided and authentic - to tell a real story through the lens that you will hold onto for the rest of your life.

One of my goals is always to limit overly staged, structured and rigid photography, and instead focus my lens on the connection between each couple, in the way that is the most natural expression of themselves. I want to disappear into the background with the guests, and capture the candid, genuine emotions that tell the real story.

I work with clients that are excited about the artistry and the beauty of having their wedding told as a story, in a way that doesn’t feel like a production. I’m always looking for couples that put their trust in the creative process, and know that the artwork they receive will show their day like the very best memories. I don’t work to a shot list and I don’t want everyone lined up like its a yearbook photo. I am inspired by all the pieces of the puzzle that make your wedding unique, and celebrate that on camera.
